Sunset on the mountain

Last weekend I joined up with the college group from Bidwel Pres and traveled an hour east to Mt Lassen National Park. It is an amazing place and we were there to hike to the summit. I had done it before in the snow and boarded down, but it was a first to actualy see the trail.

We hiked to the top as the sun was setting, froze as we watched it set, and waited for the full moon to rise, before starting the hike down.

My self portrait: This picture was taken at about 10:30 at night. There is no artificial lighting. It is a 2 minute exposure at f3.3/28mm. I thought it turned out pretty cool.
